About IgniteU STEAM
The NYSTEC STEAM program addresses the systemic barriers in STEAM education that include lack of successful programs and exposure to STEAM careers and role models, particularly within marginalized communities that typically do not seek careers in STEAM. Through an innovative model, this program will collaborate with a consortium of community stakeholders that will include students, faculty/teachers, and professionals who will work together to promote STEAM initiatives and programming.
