Founded by NYSTEC in 2015, IgniteU NY began as a program supporting entrepreneurs as they transformed ideas into viable businesses. Since then, IgniteU has evolved into a statewide platform that connects students, educators, businesses, nonprofits, government, and industry.
Through experiential learning, career exploration, business resources, strategic partnerships and public storytelling, IgniteU helps create more equitable pathways to meaningful careers and business advancement. Our work supports NYSTEC’s nonprofit mission while strengthening the relationships and networks that help New York’s people, businesses, and communities thrive.
